Infill Walling Systems
Infill walling uses lightweight steel studs spanning vertically located within the main frame of the building to create secondary lightweight framing. Forming the infill system walls are constructed by U section tracks being fixed to the slab and soffit with C section studs located and screw fixed to the flanges. Deflection of the soffit can be accommodated by a variety of means determined by structural calculations, slotted track, slotted cleats, track blocks to name a few.
Continuous Walling System
Continuous walling is system used with studs spanning vertically and located on the outside of the primary structure of the building. The Studs are attached using brackets fixed to the steel edge beam or slab edge. The Continuous wall system is used on building that require more area within the building, minimise horizontal movement joints or continuous exterior cladding.
Cladding and Sheathing
Cladding and sheathing can be directly attached to framework enabling a weather tight envelope to be created far earlier than traditional means, allowing internal works to be carried out at an early stage.
Boardfix are unique in being able to provide a full internal and external service, from
internal partitions,
suspended ceilings and
plasterwork, to the Installation of SFS and the application of external cladding and
render finishes.
